Shadi Talaei was born in 1983 in Tehran. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts from the University of Science and Culture and a master’s degree in Graphic Design from Alzahra University.
For over 20 years, she has worked as an art expert and curator, organizing numerous group exhibitions of calligraphic paintings. She has held three solo exhibitions and participated in many group exhibitions, both domestically and internationally, in cities such as Rome, Paris, Doha, Dubai, Istanbul, and others
In her work, Shadi Talaei uses Persian letters as motifs and forms. Her artworks, through texture and the intertwining of forms and colors, may evoke the repetition, mundanity, and contrasts of life. They capture moments filled with excitement or perhaps moments filled with silence.
