Ali Golestaneh (born 1984) is an art critic, painter, and art history lecturer. From 2013 to 2019, he was a member of the editorial board of the biweekly magazine Tandis, and since 2011, he has written or translated articles and essays for Tajrish Circle website, Golestaneh monthly, Hengam monthly, Morvarid biweekly, Shiveh quarterly, Form and Critique quarterly, and other art websites and publications. He has also exhibited his works in group and solo exhibitions since 2003. His translation works include Painting the Life of Postmodernism (co-translated with Shokoofeh Ghaffari, a collection of essays, Kherad Sorkh Publications, Tehran: 2019), R.B. Kitaj (written by Andrew Lambirth, Nazar Publishing, Tehran: 2020), and Marxism and the History of Art (co-translated with Shervin Taheri, written by Andrew Hemingway, Tehran: Nazar Publishing, 2022).
